Refund policy

At Sandook Fabstore, we take immense pride in the heritage and quality of our handpicked collections. We want you to cherish every piece you bring home. However, we understand that sometimes things might not go as planned. Here is how we handle returns and exchanges with fairness and care.

When We Accept a Return or Exchange

We are happy to assist you if:

  • The item you received is damaged, defective, or has structural tears.
  • You received a product significantly different from what you ordered (wrong color or wrong item).
  • There is a clear manufacturing defect, such as broken zari or unfinished borders.
  • The wrong size was delivered for our stitched suits.

What We Cannot Accept

To maintain the hygiene and the delicate nature of our fabrics, we cannot accept returns for:

  • A change of mind or personal preference after purchase.
  • Small color variations. Since many of our products are viewed on different digital screens, slight shifts in shade are natural.
  • Products that have been worn, washed, dry-cleaned, or altered in any way.
  • Items missing their original tags, packaging, or the invoice.
  • Sarees that have already had the fall and pico done.
  • Customised or made-to-order pieces.
  • Items purchased during a "Final Sale."
  • Blouse pieces that have already been cut or stitched.

The Timelines

  • 48-Hour Window: Please reach out to us within 48 hours of receiving your delivery to raise a request.
  • Tracking: We rely on our courier partner’s delivery date to track this window. Unfortunately, we cannot entertain requests made after this 48-hour period.

How to Start Your Request

  1. Email Us: Send a note to support@sandookfabstore.com. Please use the subject line: Return Request – Order #XXXXX.
  2. Share Visuals: Attach a few clear photos or a short video showing the defect or the wrong item. Ensure the tags are visible.
  3. Review: Our team will look into your request and get back to you within 2 business days.
  4. Shipping: Once approved, we will either arrange a reverse pickup or guide you on how to ship it back to us.

Note: Please do not ship items back without our prior approval, as we won't be able to process unapproved returns.

Reverse Pickup & Shipping Details

  • Serviceable Areas: For approved returns in most metro and Tier 1 cities, we offer a free reverse pickup.
  • Other Areas: If your pincode isn't serviceable for pickup, we may ask you to ship the item via a reliable courier. We will reimburse you up to ₹100 for this upon receiving your courier receipt.
  • Packing: Please ensure the item is packed securely in its original packaging to avoid any damage during transit.

Refund Policy

Once your return passes our quality check, we process refunds as follows:

COD Orders

Refunded via Bank Transfer or UPI only

Please note: Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.

Exchange Process

  • Stock Availability: Exchanges depend on what we have in stock. If your chosen item is unavailable, we will issue store credit instead.
  • First Exchange: Shipping is free for the first exchange of a defective item.
  • Limit: We permit one exchange per order.

Important Things to Note

  • Every returned item undergoes a quality inspection. If an item is found to be used, altered, or does not match the reported issue, it will be sent back to you at your cost.
  • For COD orders, we process refunds via bank transfer. We will ask for your bank details when you raise your return request.
